Z-20-00301 VARIANCE(S)   Zoning District:  R-B Low Density Residential  The application of Bethesda by the Sea Church, Applicant, relative to property located at 141 S COUNTY RD, legal description on file, is described below.  Bethesda by the Sea Church requests a variance for an increase in the overall height from the existing 87 feet to a proposed 96 ft. of the church's bell tower in the R B district where the maximum overall height limit is 30 ft. Specifically, the request is to allow the installation of a nine foot tall lightning suppression device centrally located on top of the church's 87 foot tall bell tower.  [Applicant's Representative: Harvey E Oyer III Esq]  [Landmarks Preservation Commission Recommendation:  Implementation of the proposed variances will not cause negative impact to the subject landmarked property.   Carried 7-0.] [The Landmarks Preservation Commission approved the project as presented.  Carried 7-0.]
